Juan Fleites, comic artist, animator and illustrator (born in San Francisco, de Campeche Mexico) currently resides in Merida, Yucatan. Fleites has worked with VIPER COMICS and collaborated on numerous video game productions, comics books and graphic novels (JUNKYARD ANGELS, ZILCH, and RED AS BLUE). His style and specialty are clean, bold, ink illustrations influenced by the works of Mobius (Jean Giraud), Brian Bolland, and Xaime Hernandez. Fleites favorite themes are drawing gorgeous women, sci-fi, fantasy and realistic, slice-of-life comics. Classic movies, grindhouse flicks, and his muse, iconic Hollywood silent film star Louise Brooks, are subjects that inspire his creativity. When he’s not dreaming about Brooks, Fleites enjoys producing 2D animation and stop-motion movies.
